I'd like to set something in motion with no expectation of how it plays out or moves along. Any and all types of players and roles are welcome to write their own way in etc.
A simple plot:
Wealthy banker (XM) flee's to Lydius to distance himself from the scene of a long-tail scheme he'd just finished. He takes his time walking around the port for a hand, talking to everyone and anyone who might inform him about the daily affairs of Lydius. Taking note of names and roles he devises a loose plan to wrap his greedy fingers around the walls and pockets of Lydius. He hires the best thugs he can; anyone who's loyalty he believed could be bought.
Along with goons, devises a plan to begin subtly pressuring and blackmailing local residents into offerings (could be anything: protection money, goods, services, votes, etc).
Could lead to anything from here, some ideas:

No one wants to play:
- My character is caught immediately and forced to ride a bosk backwards and naked through Lydius for a lap each day while jailed. He rots in jail and dies, ending an awful plot idea quickly and swiftly. My character spends his final hands in the service of his cell-mate Tyronius, who forces himself on Xamirus at will.
Some want to play:
- Syndicate of corrupt free being gathering regularity to plan and apply their collective influence.
- Hassled free begin to see hard times, affecting and changing their life in some way, forcing decisions.
- Over time the hassled free band together to investigate and strike back at the goons and their leader should they discover him.
